Information for Staff
1. Welcome back for 2023. Hope you have all had a fantastic break. 
On Monday, we will start with a welcome in the Staffroom at 8.30am, with meetings scheduled throughout the day. Please bring your laptop to the first session in the staffroom on Monday morning.

8.30- 10.30 amStaff briefing –Staffroom– Welcome back and new staff introductions, and updates for 2023 and Waiata Practice/Mihi Whakatau brief

10.30 – 11.00: Morning tea provided                              

11.00 – 12.30pm: Learning Area meetings

12.30 – 1.15pm:  Lunch provided

1.15 – 2.15pm : Whanaungatanga Activity – CGHS Cultural and Historical Goose Chase – Meet back in staffroom at 2.15pm

                            International and New Students (10 – 13 orientation) (KOM, LEM, PWL,SYP)                     

2.30 – 3.30pm:  HoLA L&T meeting, Junior HOD’s and Te Whare Hauora Meeting

2. Reminder on how to create a class summary on previous years results (this changed part-way through last year)

Open the markbook of the class for whom you wish to create a summary of previous achievement and click on summary.


A summary is automatically created for the assessments which are in the current markbook. This summary is entitled All Assessments and looks like this.

To add assessments from the previous year, you need to create a new summary by clicking on the NEW tab.



Give the new summary a title and then click on APPLY TEMPLATE


You can now choose the assessments you wish to add to the summary.


To find last year’s results for the students in your current class select Subject Assessments 2021 and use the search fields to find the assessments you wish to include.

Select the assessments you wish to add to the summary and click OK. They will appear in the Form. The columns are allocated automatically, but you can control this by selecting a column on the right


Click LIST to see the students’ results.
