The wero is to see whether you come in peace or as an enemy. This proverb is used when being challenged, or you have a challenge ahead of you.

2. Education potential - On Monday afterschool in the boardroom (126) there will be a demonstration for anyone interested around a new way we could use our school data. It is a program that sits above Kamar and allows all staff to 'inquire into assessment data, analyse it to identify opportunities for growth and then act to target solutions that improve learner outcomes'.

3. Blooket is a great way to review learning, offering a variety of games to keep student engaged.
You can create quizzes from scratch or import existing quizzes from Quizlet or data from a spreadsheet.

Information for Staff

1. Welcome back for Term 3 and what we hope will be a relatively disruption free term. At the end of Term 2, parents were asked to provide feedback on how the school is currently going. There was some mixed sentiment and a smaller sample size of respondents to 2021.

The area that parents identified as having the most change in the last 18 months has been around their own participation with the school (red is 2022). This is not an easy fix, and I am sure that all schools are in the same position as us, but it does show that Covid is having other impacts that we don't see as part of the everyday running of our teaching and learning programmes.

In the summary, I have added in a couple of the parent feedback comments, feel free to reflect on (or not) what has been said.

The survey summary, comments and comparison with 2021 can be found HERE.

2. Latest news regarding the TOD in week 4 this term. The subjects listed below will have the level 2 draft standards released prior to this TOD and you will be able to provide feedback via the website linked above.
