It could be used to honour a person or group in the local community that has contributed greatly.

Information for Staff

1. Powhiri July 4: Heads up information 
  • Dress code- Males need to wear shirt and tie. There is a chance males may get moved to the front. Females need to wear a skirt or dress
  • Parking- There will be no parking on site for the morning.
  • Seating-  All staff need to be behind the paepae ( no one will be in the upstairs area)
  • Office will be closed for the morning as office staff will be at the powhiri.
  • All cellphones will need to be on silent or turned off. 

2. TALIS results are now available - In late 2017 a number of staff were asked to complete a questionnaire related to teaching and learning, in order to track how this has changed over time. The first volume collating the results from New Zealand and another 47 countries is now available to look through (all 220 pages....). 3. Effective Questioning in the Classroom - Listen to the podcast from Dylan Williams
In the podcast he explains how to make questioning to find out what students actually know more effective for practice in the classroom.
