Unlike a canoe rope, a human bond cannot be severed.

Information for Staff
1. As we continue our cultural responsive PLD from afar - here are a few more resources that you can explore.
a. Build understanding of Mātauranga Maori and Matariki - a podcast from last years ULearn.
b. Matariki from a Pacific peoples perspective - another podcast
c. Here are some links and resources from the Ann Milne webinar/hui that went ahead yesterday afternoon (17/2):
- Slide deck for Ann’s presentation
- Ann Milne Education - Ann’s website with resources and courses.
One of the slides showed the link to the video 'a girl like me' - made in 2005. In 2017 a group of students replicated this study with NZ Māori students - but showed no social progression/change. An interesting discussion and/or cultural conversation.
Move into 3 mins and 42 sec for the expt.
