1. PLD for 2019 - Mindlab
At The Mind Lab, we take a future-focused approach to learning. We encourage teachers to explore new ways of teaching through collaborative and active learning with colleagues and students, from early childhood to tertiary, across all subject specialisms.
Active learning? Collaborative learning? What do these buzzwords really mean? And how do you apply these approaches in ways that help students develop to their full potential? There's never been a better time to build confidence and understanding of contemporary education. Ensure your career will continue to be richly rewarding and positively impactful for you and your students.
We are hosting a free Postgraduate Digital Technologies Workshop to guide teachers like yourself through these new teaching practices whilst introducing our Postgraduate Certificate in Digital and Collaborative Learning.
In this workshop, you will take part in a Mind Lab activity that can be immediately applied to your classroom practice. You'll leave inspired to explore new ideas and new ways of teaching. Find out more HERE.
2. Something to watch: Under the Table - The Importance of Presuming Competence - Tedx Talk with Shelley Moore.
