Information for Staff

1. In term 2, our parent community were given the opportunity to give feedback on how the imposed lock-down affected the learning experience of students. This was done through GCSN, for all Christchurch schools. They have provided us with a report based on our parent data. The report can be found here at:  COVID-19 Report for CGHS

Interesting results include that 90% of the parent respondents felt very good about how well they were supported by the school, but only 50% of the parent respondents felt very good about their communication with the child(ren)'s teacher(s). A couple of good comments at the end to reflect on.

ERO have also released their findings on the impact on schools from Covid-19. Their report can be found at:  https://www.ero.govt.nz/assets/Uploads/Covid-19-interim-report-FINAL.pdf
