Information for Staff
1. Thank you to everyone for engaging in our first late start linked to our inquiry for 2019. You will all now see that you have been added to a Team Drive in google "Teaching as Inquiry - Staff PLD" Your group facilitator will have uploaded your presentations and relevant resources there. You will also be able to access other folders for other information if you wish.
2. This is an FYI, that I saw in the latest education central re digital examinations. It looks as if they are stopping the go ahead for subjects such as mathematics being delivered by a digital format.

3. Here is a simple karakia which can be used at the start of a department / faculty meeting, or class. It is non-denominational and it is great to make sure that people know to join in for “tāiki e” at the end.
Karakia Tīmatanga Prayer for start of day /meeting
Tūtawa mai i raro I summon from below
Tūtawa mai i roto I summon from within
Tūtawa mai i waho and from the surrounding environment
Kia tau ai te mauri tū The universe energy
te mauri ora ki te katoa invigorate, and enrich us, unify us
Hāumi e, hui e, tāiki e
4. Next Matai messenger will be available in the second week of the school holdiays - enjoy your well earned break
