Information for staff

1. FYI - I have taken the sports events off the calendar - and trying to keep on top of what is still going ahead and what has been currently cancelled. Apologies if errors arise.

Please note the changes to the assembly slots on the Wednesday for the Year levels - as scholars/academic assembly is cancelled we will hold year level assemblies and hand out the certificates and badges to the girls' over the next 2 weeks (no hand shaking of course - but hope we can send out some photo's to parents).

2. I came across this yesterday ..... a visual representation of readiness for online learning!

I have had some great conversations with HOLAs over the last few days regarding readiness for online learning, and will go over a summary of the outcomes with the HOLA's at L&T on Tuesday, this will also be shared with the whole staff.

The decision has been made to change the focus of our late start on April 2 to one that will be a department meeting to allow for discussions around resources for online learning for both possible short term and longer term closures if we get to that stage. There has been a lot of great resources that have been made freely available to schools as well as tips published from overseas teachers who are in the current situation of resorting to online teaching and learning.

I have also been reminded of this document re Life-long learners that was published about 5 years ago, regarding the educational aims for our students. Worth a revisit as 2025 does not feel that long away -
