Information for Staff
1. Rongohia te Hau: CGHS has PLD hours that will be used this year to focus on our CRP. The basis of the application was around - "Where are we, how do we know, and where are we going'. The first step in the process will inform the second phase where we will get a report that will give a clear indication of where as a school we need to focus our efforts in response to both cultural responsive practice and relational pedagogies. At this stage, the introduction for this to happen will occur at a staff meeting on Tuesday 15 August.
Purpose of Rongohia Te Hau:
- To take a snapshot of culturally responsive and relational pedagogy across the school / Kāhui Ako as a slice in time
- Rongohia te Hau provides baseline data about Culturally Responsive and Relational Pedagogy with, by and for schools as evidence for action planning and professional growth
- To bring together three pieces of evidence for critical reflection. For example – perception surveys, in-class observations, and achievement data
